We have been running the Fanos Light After-school program since 2021. This program was designed and launched with the purpose of providing a safe space where children and youth come to attend the various programs we are proving through the organization. Though the organization we have been providing the materials and the tools these children need , materials such as books , computers , educational aid materials , school supplies and other resources these students may need while attending the programs. We have run successful programs in the last three years in Winnipeg , Manitoba. We have seen many children and youth came to our programs and benefit from the programs. Through the years we have seen some educational and inspiring moments that would encourage us to work diligently with these children.
We know the work and the task was not that easy for it requires patience , dedication , and responsibility to support these children and youth. We know it takes time , effort , and sacrifice to build programs and to see the difference we wanted to see in these children academic and life.That is why we dedicate our selves and put all the effort in this work for we believe in these children talent and in their potential.
In the recent past we have started running our After school program in British Colombia with some children and youth. We are so grateful for these children coming to The Fanos Light After school and we are excited and we are looking forward to work with them and their families. We have been running this program since August and it’s going really well. We have seen some educational and inspiring moments for we are working to creat a conducive environment that facilitate learning and growth. We are working to build a community of learners for we believe we are all learners coming to learn from each other.
