Remembrance Day

I emigrated to Canada years ago leaving all what I had , my family , friends , my new career , and my future and aspirations. Soon after I arrived , I realized I have to start all over again , need to find new friends , family , career and all other things. I have to tell you that it was not easy , and still sometimes challenging , but I am grateful to God and to many people who helped me , supported me , encouraged me , and taught me so many things , I am grateful. I am not the person I am without the support of so many people.

Today , is a Remembrance Day in Canada , it’s a day to acknowledge Canadians who served their country during wars and people still serving. On behalf of The Fanos Light I want to take this opportunity to acknowledge all veterans who served Canada during wars and people still serving their country. I also want to acknowledge so many Canadians I had a chance to meet along the path of live who helped me , supported me, accepted me as I am and taught me so many things , inspired me to do better , I am always grateful to you all. Let’s us remember and also work together to see the difference we all want to see in children and youth education here in Canada , in Ethiopia and beyond.
